Adele, Ke$ha Dominate The UK Charts


In the UK singles chart,Adele new album 21 has gone straight to number one with 'We R Who We R'.

90,000 copies of single 'We R Who We R' has been almost sold out of the US singer, the first to be taken from her new album 'Animal + Cannibal'.

There were two new entries inside the top-10; Chase & Status' 'Blind Faith' featuring Liam Bailey at number five and Chris Brown's 'Yeah 3X' at number ten, according to the Official Charts Company.

Adele 21 went straight to top in charts selling over 208,000 copies in it's first week of release.

Since Arctic Monkey's 'Whatever People Say I Am That’s What I’m Not' in 2003,Adele 21 has become the biggest January album in the last five.

The singer's debut '19' was also in the top-10 alongside Imelda May's 'Mayhem at number seven and Alfie Boe's 'Bring Me Home at number nine.

Adele: I'm lucky I broke up with ex


Adele feels lucky as she split up with ex boyfriend which inspired her new album.Her debut album LP ‘19’ was about a heartbreak and her new record 21 is about her most recent upset.

Adele laughed as she told the Daily Telegraph: "I'm lucky - before I met my ex, I was panicking, thinking what was I going to write my second album about: hotel rooms and air miles? No one can relate to that.

"So I'm very lucky that I met him. And I'm lucky that we broke up as well!"

She admitted: "I do wonder when I'm going to meet the person the next record's going to be about. He'll probably run a mile after he hears this one!"

Adele Too Nervous To Meet Glee Cast


Adele unveil that she was too anxious to go and familiarize herself to members of the Glee cast.

Adele is the big fan of the show,but got nervous when he had a chance to meet Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Chris Colfer (Kurt).

She admitted: "I f***ing love 'Glee', love, love, love 'Glee'.

"I was meant to meet Amber and Chris the last time they were in London but I kept saying I was too busy because I was so nervous.

"'Glee' is a really important show actually. It's funny, but it's quite serious as well."

Adele to play extended Live Lounge gig


On BBC Radio One later this month,Grammy Awards winner Adele is to perform a Live Lounge Special.

When she heads to the Maida Vale Studios on January 27,the singer will going to perform a live lounge and he will play six songs.

Adele said in a statement: 'I'm really excited to appear in the Live Lounge again, the last time around was so much fun.

'I'm honoured to be the first artist to do this extended version. I have a very special cover lined up which I can't wait to perform.'

Adele will be singing her new track Rolling In The Deep as well as a cover and another four songs in the 30-minute special.

Adele writes about her ex-lover


Adele upcoming album sophomore effort 21 is based upon her ex-boyfriend Slinky Sunbeam.The album will release later this month and features lyrics based on the musician whose relationship with her ended in April 2008.

“My ex was my inspiration for the album, but never mind a free copy, he can go and buy it,”she exposed at her concert in Lancashire.

Currently Adele is working with US producer Paul Epworth in America and she says that she misses home and still stays in touch with her UK friends regularly.
